I strolled away with 20k and lol'd at him for being a scammer - served him right for scamming and gave me a good laugh

Doesnt that make u the scammer? maybe they were actually wanting to buy the account....i know its against the terms but seriously lol, that is the funniest thing i've seen in GW.

lol. Had a similar experience like that once. In a pug doing a HM mission. Guy brings two hero monks with him. Had a near party wipe and found out that the hero monks couldn't rez us. They were equipped with rez signets and they had all ready been used.

Nothing too hilarious. Just kinda bad because apparently I was "trash talking" by pointing that out. And then he proceeds to try to defend it in PM.

empathy kills casters all the time... GO RED ENGIsomething?
@headgear56 Like it was said previously in this thread, monks shouldn't cary a rez unless using UA, because the time they waste ressurecting in battle, other players could die because of the 3-4 secs that the rez takes. And occuping a bar slot just to ressurect in near wipes, why don't the other 6-7 members of the team carry one? --> Scratch that. Didn't read the heroes part.
On Topic -> Yesterday some random guy in GToB started shouting: 'Cookies!' and next some other guys shouted: 'Pancakes!' 'Waffles!' 'Fries!' and so on , and on , and on.
I like the good vibrations that GToB transmits everytime I pass through there.

Now THAT is stupid. This issue of whether he should have been brining monks to rez aside, equipping BOTH hero monks with just signets? That's actually mind-bogglingly dumb.

Ah, always something new to share...
Involving my stormbow again...
Some guy in Lions Arch was absolutely railing on another guy in public chat about how there is no such thing as an inscribable stormbow. I joined in and announced that I did indeed have one. The guy called me a liar in public, so I went and got it and tried to show it to him. He refused to even open the trade window with me but still was trying to argue his point fruitlessly. I showed the bow to several people involved in the conversation but the guy was still sticking to his guns saying, "I don't need to see it, I KNOW it doesn't exist."

Well... our guild got a group together to do Thunderhead Keep. There weren't enough of us online for a full group, so we had to pug out the opening spot.
We brought this kid who was bantering on and on about how well he knew how to finish the mission... "just follow my lead!". So, I'm not sure what was the "stupidest", us letting him lead, or his idea of how to progress TK. He wouldn't stay with the group, kept running off and aggroing everything in sight. Our energy was barely recharged before he's aggro'd the next big group. Kept getting himself killed. I think we rezzed him about 4 times before we ported back and dropped him. We ended up finishing with a henchie in his position.
One more.... this guy had pig plate armor (Drok), arguing he'd gotten it from Grotto. We kept asking him if he could see the pig on his chest. Sometimes you just gotta laugh at this stuff.

Because Balthazar is a shitty avatar for PvE. I wouldn't give it even to a hero.
Wounding Strike/Melandru/Lyssa/Dwayna all the way.

DSC this double faction weekend, as well as the kinda of expected, smiters bringing CoF smite builds, I had one guy come as a smiter but not only omit Balthazars from his build but also not bring Holy Wrath. "Isn't retribution enough?" /facepalm
But words cannot describe the awesome of this one from the lobby of JQ:

Watch your mouth XD I could say the same thing about Wounding Strike really. I mean it gives bleeding, and deep wound if enchanted and that's all the bonus it has. Deep Wound rocks, but it really is not as effective unless the enemy is below 50% HP since if it ends, the enemy just regain that life. Using it from start doesn't make the kill quicker, since there's no difference between using it on a low HP and high HP target because it is counted from the max hp amount. This makes it inferior to Reaper's Sweep that, not only has a constant damage bonus, but also inflicts deep wound if target was below 50% hp. Not to mention it is one of few skills that can remove enchantments such as Spell Breaker, Obsidian Flesh and Vow of Silence. And skills such as Mark of Protection, Healing Hands, Shield of Regeneration, which useually cause annoyances for a melee character will come to an end.
Of course you may mention the recharge time. But since the Deep Wound lasts longer than 8 secs on both skills with not a lot invested in Scythe Mastery, that is irrelevant. If it ends quickly then the foe is either a boss or has anti condition spells, making the overall usefullness of the deep wound rather irrelevant too since it's applied after bleeding on Wounding Strike.
AvB is a useful skill for following in PvE: Running, with the inherent speed and armor bonus, fighting undead, with the holy damage bonus, and minor tanking with both the speed and armor bonus. Sure it has a long recharge, but most fights last less than a minute giving it full effect throughout the fight and normally you get a minute for recharge of energy, picking up items and finding another big mob, which has it recharged before battletime.
AvB has the bonus that it can be used very easily and against any foe. Dwayna needs to cast skills all the time and isn't practical damage wise. Lyssa has a lot of energy and damage, but no defense. Melandru has hp bonus but is otherwise only really useful in condition heavy areas.

Yeah...
(Hint: Like Daze, Deep wound has an extremely useful, and apparently widely unknown secondary effect...)

To be honest, I'd agree with the other guy.. since in guild wars, ectos, zkeys, armbraces and other such items have a generally agreed upon value, and therefore are equivalent to cash. So.. yeah. Self ownage?
